The passion for stories warms our souls. Our literary prize honors literary travelers for nearly half a century. Language, face, landscape: a precisely romantic geography.

Engaged in the global network of Alliances Françaises, dozens of young 'civic service' people form a guild vanguard projected towards all continents. They give their time, they offer their curiosity, they share their knowledge with sometimes distant audiences, who come to find in an AF this culture of freedom so particular to France. Growing from year to year, these missions are backed by an agreement established with the Fondation des Alliances Françaises.

The Guild places know-how at the disposal of the places of influence of French cultural diplomacy, deploying a cinema program outside the walls for Les Screens or development expertise services, in particular for the French Institute in Iraq.

Through the association Les Ecrans de la paix, we work with the organization The Book Forum of Mosul, a literary café that knows how to put on popular screenings. In neighboring Syria, for the benefit of the Raqqa library, we sent a large stock of books.

French can also be heard on Radio Al Salam, with the launch on our airwaves of language initiation programs produced with the Danielle Mitterrand School in Erbil.

At the crossroads of inks, since its beginnings, La Guilde has loved the principle of the great story, synonymous with this 'Grand Prix' for the book awarded to La Plagne for years, in front of an assembly of inspired: Roger Frison-Roche, Jean Lartéguy , Paul Guimard, Yves Courrière, Jean Raspail, Christian Dedet, Hugo Pratt, Pierre Schoendoerffer, Jean-Claude Barreau, Jean-François Deniau. Since 1992, La Toison d'or has been awarded to Dijon, through a chronicle that saw Denis Tillinac, Jean-Paul Kauffmann, Olivier Weber, Dominique Bona, Olivier Frébourg, Yann Queffélec, Philippe Tesson, Jean-Christophe Ruffin, Erik Orsenna, Sylvain Tesson, Jean-Luc Coatalem, Marc de Gouvenain, Patrice Franceschi, Alexis Jenni, Sébastien de Courtois, Cédric Gras, Louis Meunier, Clara Arnaud, Edouard Cortès, Charles Wright, Guillaume Jan, Samuel Adrian.

Our actions have continued in the world of publishing, through dedicated collections at Fernand Nathan, Albin Michel and the Presses de la Renaissance. They embed a powerful desire to consolidate our cultural support, right down to their digital facets: this is for example the Culture_G module, when La Guilde becomes a prescriber on the networks.
