REGIONAL MANAGER LATIN AMERICA

The association AIME is a non-profit organization created in 2009 by students wishing to use their skills for meaningful projects.

AIME is an NGO whose objective is to promote citizen engagement in the service of solidarity, sustainable and inclusive development..

The activity of the association revolves around two axes of action:

  • Volunteering : AIME offers solidarity missions in France and internationally, mainly through the Civic Service system. The young volunteers, aged 16 to 25, commit to partner reception structures acting in favor of various themes such as education for all, the integration of refugees into society, the protection of the environment and biodiversity, the promotion of Culture and the Arts, etc. Approved since 2017 as an organization for sending volunteers in Civic Service, AIME has enabled the engagement of more than 500 young people in Civic Service missions.
  • Education for Citizenship and International Solidarity which aims to promote and encourage civic engagement with a public that is more distant from these themes. Approved as a structure of Youth and Popular Education, AIME has designed a 3-step program to integrate all young people into the discussion of solidarity: inform (via meetings and participation in forums and fairs), raise awareness (thanks to workshops and training) and engage (during citizen stays or on Civic Service missions in particular). The association wishes to make civic engagement a lever for socio-professional integration.
