Le Antenne French-speaking Center was founded in 2016 with the aim of bringing both a qualitative and quantitative boost to the teaching of French which was then declining in the city of Dalat, province of Lam Dong. The main activity of the structure is French courses, but others have been added such as the organization of cultural events, DELF exams, film screenings, etc.
In addition to the French-speaking world, the protection of the environment and local heritage, decentralized cooperation (with the Occitanie region) is one of the priority areas. The Maison de la Francophonie de Dalat also supports a twinning between the Thang Long high school and the Petit Chadignac horticultural high school (Saintes). The Maison de la francophonie de Dalat and co-founding member of the International Network of Maisons des Francophonies.
Our mission
The mission is part of the V-Francophonie program financed by the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs and whose implementation is entrusted to France Volontaires.
The program aims to support the projects of French embassies in favor of the Francophonie and the teaching of French through the mobilization of International Solidarity Volunteers (IVS).
The initiative is part of the continuity of the orientations of the Presidential Development Council and the CICID in favor of youth which provides for the creation of 3 positions of young experts or volunteers by 000. It is also part of supporting to the French strategy in terms of Francophonie and French teaching and in the perspective of the 2027th Francophonie Summit organized by France in 2024.
Under the supervision of the management of the Center francophone Antenne, the volunteer will help with the transformation of the current Maison de la francophonie de Dalat for the promotion of the French-speaking world and relations between the city of Dalat and its province (Lam Dong ) on the one hand and France on the other.
He/She will have the following main actions:
- To teach the French language (FLE);
- To help develop and create activities linked to the mission: cultural events, educational activities, etc.
The volunteer must participate in a departure preparation session which will take place from June 10 to 13, 2024 in Paris.

Languages
- Must be able to demonstrate a very good level of French, written and oral, and the necessary conditions for teaching the French language in Vietnam (the supporting documents will be specified as appropriate);
- A good knowledge of English and/or Vietnamese is recommended;
Required qualities
- Autonomy, taking initiative and organization;
- Good interpersonal skills, conscientious and comfortable working in a team;
- Ability to adapt and integrate, promoting interculturality and respect for customs and traditions.
Other
- Good knowledge of communication tools and digital interfaces (website, etc.);
- Good knowledge of the regional context would be a plus;
