Natureevolution, founded in 2009, is a non-profit association for nature preservation and international solidarity. Because the species and ecosystems that are richest in them – such as coral reefs or tropical forests – are absolutely essential to us, because we only protect what we know and what we love and finally because we must act before it is too late, our strategy consists on the one hand of exploring, studying and highlighting these last terras incognitas and the biological and cultural treasures that they conceal, on the other hand to implement – with and for local communities – sustainable projects for social assistance, development of economic alternatives and conservation. The association is today active on 3 intervention sites: the Makay massif in Madagascar, the karsts of the south-east of the island of Sulawesi in Indonesia and finally on French territory.
CONTEXT
From 2024, Naturevolution will pilot the “Wallacea Expeditions” project, a series of multidisciplinary scientific expeditions in Indonesia, on the island of Sulawesi, one of the 36 global biodiversity hotspots. In the current context of accelerated degradation of natural environments and massive disappearance of species all around the planet, the objective of these large-scale scientific missions is to study a variety of environments that make up the province of Sulawesi Tenggara (karst massifs , rivers, mangroves, coral reefs, canopies, monocultures, etc.) located in the south-east of the island with a view to creating a new protected area.

Echoing the expedition series, the project aims to set up an educational support program for schools. This educational component will be mainly based on the production, based on the scientific content of the expeditions, of multidisciplinary digital resources, with a view to Education for Sustainable Development, in line with ministerial directives. These resources will explore the geographic, economic, biological and social issues linked to the study and preservation of biodiversity, as well as the development of international scientific expeditions.
ACTIVITIES
Within the association and in support of the association's educational manager (employee), you will be responsible for:
- Participate in the organization of events and activities for various audiences (school interventions, conferences, frescoes, workshops, etc.);
- Participate in activities and interventions in favor of the environment with schools and the public;
- Participate in the association's events (festivals, screening evenings, school interventions and various conferences): welcoming the public, information on the association, assistance with activities;
- Participate in the creation of educational tools, supports and activities (educational kits, educational sheets, videos, frescoes, exhibitions, etc.) intended to raise awareness among schools and the general public about the issues of environmental protection and sustainable development;
- Contribute with the communications team to the animation of our networks (LinkedIn, Facebook, X, website, newsletter, etc.).
